Had Anthony Girellini and his son Nick out today. I enjoy nothing more than helping foster some quality father / son bonding time on the water fishing. Started the day looking for some Bass to catch but pulled the plug on that quickly as the windy conditions and hard current had us at a standstill. Opted to change it up and go bottom fishing instead. Found a good chew of Sea Bass, the only problem was most were short ranging from a few inches to an average of 11″ in size. Made a lot of moves looking for a better chew, but never found it. The guys fished hard all day and filled a 5 gallon bucket with some nice Knucklehead Sea Bass. Anthony nailed a nice keeper tog as well and threw back few shorts too. The Striper season should start to heat up soon and blackfish will be open before you know it.
