Ran our first Friday night magic hours Fluke trip tonight accompanied by Bob, Adam and Adam’s dad Ed. Started inshore with short action. Headed offshore to the rough stuff to be greeted by no drift. Bounced around until, with the sun setting the conditions changed and the Fluke started to chew. Had a good family rivalry brewing with Ed winning on keepers but Adam on numbers. Adam was hitting them pretty good with the bucktail, problem was they were coming up short for him. Bob also bucktailed 2 nice keepers. I did see one thresher go airborne in the distance and there were some blows amongst the schools that were probably threshers too. Beautiful night on the water and some good fishing despite the lousy drift conditions. Will be running these trips every Friday night through the summer.
